1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and PDCC LLC, doing business as Dollars & Sense (“Dollars & Sense,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of dollarsnsense.io and any webpages, content, forms, tools, calculators, newsletters, downloads, programs, products, events, and services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Access

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use paid Services or submit requests involving financial, mortgage, real-estate, or coaching matters. General educational content may be viewed by younger users only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and current. If any Service requires an account, access link, password, or verification code, you are responsible for protecting it and for activity conducted through your access credentials.

We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or discontinue access to any Service when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, prevent misuse, or maintain the security and operation of the website.

3. Educational and Informational Purpose

Dollars & Sense provides general education about topics such as budgeting, debt, credit, saving, couples and money, mortgage readiness, affordability, real estate, and homeownership. Unless a separate written professional-services agreement expressly states otherwise, the Services are educational and informational only.

The Services are not a substitute for individualized financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, credit-repair, housing-counseling, mental-health, or other professional advice. Viewing content, using a tool, downloading a resource, attending a webinar, joining a newsletter, or communicating through a general website form does not create a fiduciary, attorney-client, accountant-client, therapist-client, mortgage-client, real-estate agency, or other professional relationship.

Before making a significant financial, legal, tax, investment, mortgage, debt, or real-estate decision, consider consulting an appropriately licensed or qualified professional who can evaluate your specific circumstances.

4. Mortgage, Credit, and Real Estate Information

Mortgage, lending, credit, affordability, and real-estate content is provided for general education. It is not a commitment to lend, an approval, a loan estimate, a rate lock, a credit decision, an appraisal, a property valuation, a guarantee of qualification, or an offer to enter into a real-estate transaction.

Loan programs, interest rates, fees, property values, underwriting guidelines, eligibility standards, tax rules, insurance requirements, and market conditions can change and vary by lender, loan type, property, location, borrower profile, and date. Approval is subject to the requirements of the applicable lender, investor, insurer, government agency, or other provider.

Formal mortgage applications, credit authorizations, disclosures, and real-estate representation must be completed through the secure systems and separate agreements provided for those services. Those systems and services may be operated under a separate business name, license, company, privacy notice, or terms.

5. Calculators, Worksheets, Projections, and Estimates

Calculators, worksheets, checklists, assessments, examples, projections, and similar tools are provided for convenience and general educational purposes. Their results depend on the information entered, assumptions used, formulas selected, rounding, and other limitations.

• Results are estimates and may differ from actual lender, creditor, tax, investment, or household calculations.
• Tools may not include every fee, tax, insurance cost, interest adjustment, underwriting rule, legal requirement, or personal circumstance.
• Estimated debt-payoff dates, savings amounts, affordability figures, payments, or qualification outcomes are not guarantees.
• You should independently verify important calculations before relying on them.

We may update, modify, correct, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time without notice.

6. Programs, Courses, Coaching, Events, Purchases, and Refunds

We may offer free or paid courses, coaching, webinars, workshops, memberships, downloads, workbooks, digital products, or other programs. The description, price, payment schedule, access period, deliverables, eligibility requirements, cancellation terms, and refund policy presented at registration or checkout form part of your agreement.

Payments

• You authorize the stated charge and any recurring charges clearly disclosed before purchase.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes, bank fees, card fees, or other charges imposed by third parties.
• Payments may be processed by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies.

Refunds and cancellations

Refund and cancellation rights are governed by the policy displayed for the specific product, program, event, or service at the time of purchase, together with applicable law. Unless a specific offer states otherwise, purchasing a digital product does not create an unlimited right to return it after access or delivery.

Program changes

We may make reasonable changes to schedules, instructors, delivery platforms, supporting materials, session dates, or program content. If we cancel a paid event or program without providing a reasonable substitute, our responsibility is limited to the remedy stated in the applicable offer terms or, when no remedy is stated, the amount paid for the canceled portion.

7. Email, Text, and Electronic Communications

When you subscribe, register, purchase, request a resource, submit a form, or contact us, you consent to receive communications related to your request, transaction, account, program, or relationship with Dollars & Sense.

When permitted by law and consistent with your choices, we may also send educational or promotional communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing email through the unsubscribe link in the message. If text messaging is offered, message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP.

You agree that electronic notices, disclosures, and records can satisfy legal requirements that communications be in writing, subject to any separate consent requirements that apply to a specific transaction.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or harmful purposes.
• Submit false information, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority.
• Interfere with website operation, security, forms, servers, networks, or another user’s access.
• Introduce malware, malicious code, automated attacks, excessive requests, scraping systems, or unauthorized data-collection tools.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, source code, databases, restricted content, or security features.
• Copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content except as expressly allowed.
• Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, confidentiality, or ownership notices.
• Use the Services or content to train, develop, or improve an artificial-intelligence system or competing product without prior written permission.
• Use any resource in a way that violates another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, contractual rights, or applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property and Limited License

The Services and their content—including text, videos, graphics, logos, designs, calculators, formulas as expressed in our tools, workbooks, downloads, course materials, presentations, audio, branding, page layouts, and compilations—are owned by or licensed to PDCC LLC and are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, noncommercial use. You may download or print a resource only when the Service expressly permits it and only for your own household or authorized personal use.

You may not teach from, resell, sublicense, distribute, post publicly, share paid access credentials, create derivative products from, or use our content in a business, course, publication, software product, consulting engagement, or paid service without prior written permission.

“Dollars & Sense,” related logos, taglines, and other brand identifiers are trademarks or service marks of PDCC LLC or their respective owners. No license to use those marks is granted except as necessary to accurately identify the Services.

10. User Submissions, Feedback, and Community Content

You retain ownership of original content you submit, such as questions, comments, feedback, survey responses, reviews, or other materials (“User Content”). You represent that you have the right to submit the User Content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.

By submitting User Content for publication, use in a program, or promotional use, you grant PDCC LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute that content for the purpose for which it was submitted. We will obtain any additional authorization required before publicly using an identifiable testimonial, image, voice recording, or personal story.

Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

11. Testimonials, Examples, and Results

Testimonials, case studies, illustrations, sample calculations, and success stories describe individual experiences or hypothetical examples. They are not promises, guarantees, or representations that you will achieve the same or similar outcome.

Financial results vary based on income, expenses, debt, credit history, interest rates, household behavior, market conditions, property availability, lender requirements, participation, implementation, and many other factors. We do not guarantee debt reduction, credit improvement, savings, loan approval, homeownership, investment performance, income, or any other result.

When a testimonial, endorsement, or recommendation involves compensation, a free product, an affiliate relationship, or another material connection, we intend to disclose that connection as required.

12. Third-Party Websites, Platforms, and Services

The Services may link to or embed third-party websites, videos, forms, social networks, course platforms, scheduling systems, payment processors, calculators, mortgage portals, real-estate services, or other tools. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, accessibility, content, products, policies, or practices of third parties.

A link or reference does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product, or service offered by the third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by the third party’s own terms, disclosures, and privacy policies.

13. Affiliate Links, Sponsorships, and Recommendations

From time to time, Dollars & Sense may recommend books, software, services, products, professionals, or other resources. Some links may be affiliate links, referral links, sponsored placements, or arrangements through which PDCC LLC may receive compensation or another benefit.

Material relationships will be disclosed where required. Compensation does not change your purchase price unless expressly stated. You are responsible for evaluating whether a recommended product or service is appropriate for you.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. PDCC LLC disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, security, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or suitable for your specific circumstances. We do not warrant the accuracy of third-party information or that defects will always be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDCC LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, loss of opportunity, business interruption, emotional distress, property loss, credit effects, financing denial, or similar losses arising from or related to the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of PDCC LLC for claims arising from or related to a paid Service will not exceed the amount you paid to PDCC LLC for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability. For free Services, total aggregate liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some provisions may not apply to you.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PDCC LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of another person’s rights.

This obligation does not require you to indemnify a party for that party’s own fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to you.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or another jurisdiction’s mandatory consumer law applies.

Before filing a formal legal claim, you and PDCC LLC agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. A written notice should describe the issue, relevant facts, and requested resolution and should be sent to hello@dollarsnsense.io or the mailing address listed below.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in another location or in small-claims court.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services if you violate these Terms, fail to make a required payment, misuse content, threaten website security, infringe another person’s rights, engage in abusive conduct, or create legal or operational risk.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not automatically create a refund right. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, dispute terms, and general provisions—will survive.

19. Changes to the Services or These Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms to reflect changes in our offerings, technology, business practices, or legal requirements. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change materially affects a paid Service you already purchased, any additional notice or consent required by law or the applicable purchase agreement will be provided.

20. General Provisions

Entire agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable offer, checkout, registration, order form, or separate written agreement constitute the entire agreement concerning the relevant Services and replace prior discussions concerning the same subject.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

No waiver

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the Services.

Headings are provided for convenience and do not limit the meaning of any provision.
